More About Me

I’m Erica Sharunte Brown, a Licensed Independent Social Worker and trauma-informed therapist who believes healing happens in safe, honest, and compassionate spaces. With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, I have supported individuals navigating trauma, emotional overwhelm, identity struggles, and life transitions. 

You don’t need to be fixed, you deserve to feel understood. I work with people who often look like they’re holding it all together on the outside, but inside feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected. Many of my clients struggle with burnout, overthinking, perfectionism, and feeling like they’re always the one showing up for everyone else, while quietly running on empty. You might have a hard time slowing down, setting boundaries, or knowing what you actually need. Rather than viewing diagnoses as identities, I see symptoms as meaningful signals, insight into how your mind and body adapted to past experiences to protect you.​

​I offer trauma-informed, attachment-based therapy that integrates nervous system regulation and experiential work. I also offer faith-based therapy when desired. Together we uncover root patterns, build emotional resilience, and develop skills for daily life. My goal is not just symptom relief, but sustainable growth to improve your quality of life by helping you become who you were created to be.
